Eric Hagstette and his family made the choice almost 15 years ago to find a new home and inhabit Portland – a choice based on nothing but a love of the city. His birthplace of Georgia will always be a part of him, as well as, his Southern hospitality, but Portland represents a perfect synthesis of urban progressiveness with natural beauty.  Every day, the food, the wine, the outdoor life, and the sustainable lifestyle of the area support his decision to make Portland his home.

As your Realtor, Eric is here to guide, advise, and protect you.  Any realtor can help you buy and sell real estate, but none look out for your best interests like Eric and Inhabit Portland. Whether you need a savvy negotiator, a candid adviser, or a caring advocate, Eric works hard to position every client for the best possible outcome.  From quaint bungalows in Portland’s picturesque pocket neighborhoods to major mixed-use developments in the city’s burgeoning urban environments, Eric is experienced at negotiating on your behalf with all levels of buyers and sellers.  He will create clear expectations for all parties and produce results that match. All with a warm smile and a firm handshake.

Most clients remark that Eric is unlike any Realtor they have ever met. It’s not just that he is a competitive cyclist, a triathlete and an outdoor enthusiast; it’s that as a real estate partner, he is composed and unhurried, without a whiff of salesy manipulation. Eric attributes his manner to his home life — with two young children and a working spouse, he knows the importance of having the perfect place to come home to. A house is your family’s retreat and haven.  Choosing it cannot be rushed or compromised.  When you are ready to get started, Eric will be pleased to make your acquaintance, take you for a ride around his beautiful city, maybe even offer you a glass of sweet iced tea.
