As a first time homeowner/purchaser, I had very limited knowledge regarding the current trending market for properties in Portland and Jessica not only educated me, but also eased a lot of the frustrations and anxiety I felt over purchasing the right home. She is utterly amazing and truly cares about the wants/needs of her clients. Throughout the entire ordeal of locating a home, putting in an offer, and finally purchasing a home, her approach was always of that of a passionate professional but also that of a caring friend. I would highly recommend her to everyone in the Portland Metro area!
I wanted to take a few minutes today to thank you again for all your help with our listing and sale. I felt you went above and beyond numerous times, and helped the process move seamlessly (or at least flow better when things got sticky!). I am so grateful we went with you, and wanted to make sure you were aware of how appreciative we were.
I highly recommend Tom. I couldn’t be happier with the way he helped me through the process of selling my home. He was knowledgeable about the local market, attentive to details and extraordinarily helpful as I got my home ready to sell. I’ve worked with other agents and the experience with Tom was better in every way: he was responsive to my many questions, he was professional and hard-working, and despite being busy, he always made me feel like my home (and my experience) was his top priority. I would use Tom again in a heartbeat. Regardless of the ups and downs of the housing market, regardless of whether you’re buying or selling, what matters is the hard-work, attention to details, and relentlessness of your agent. Tom Kerr excels in all these areas. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
I have nothing but good things to say about Brittany and the Inhabit Portland team. Brittany walked me through my first home buying experience and was helpful at every step. She helped me solidify my idea of what I was looking for, spent as much time as I needed driving around showing me different options, and talking through the pros and cons of each location. I could tell she had my best interest in mind throughout the whole process, and she answered all of my questions promptly, professionally, and helpfully. She is kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. She handled the inspections, walked me through the paperwork, and I never felt she was pushing unnecessary or overpriced options on me. We have kept in touch since the closing date, and she has been a friend to me even after our business was concluded. I would highly recommend (and I have on more than one occasion) her to anyone looking to buy a home.
Brian Belefant (our favorite realtor) represented my niece and myself in the purchase of a home in Portland, Oregon in September, 2017.
If you’re thinking of hiring Brian, here are some observations my niece and I had about him:
1. Responsive. He answers the phone, responds to your requests.
2. Even tempered. When problems arise, and they always do, Brian looks for solutions.
3. Knowledgeable. I have 30 years experience in banking. It was nice not to have to educate my real estate agent about the process.
4. Resourceful. We had an issue with our lender and Brian went above and beyond to help solve it. He didn’t, of course, because like I said, I have 30 years experience in banking. But the guy tried. Hard.
5. Patient. He showed us houses numbering in the teens, listened to feedback, and pointed out the pros and cons for each showing.
6. Fun. In a quiet, introverted way.
He’s honest and he works hard. I’m glad we worked with him.
Shane was my Broker this year when I bought my house in Sellwood. He did a great job and handled everything for me which was key as a remote buyer.
Working with Sarah was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Sarah made the process offinding a home pleasurable, fun and easy, eliminating all of the anxiety from the task. She guided me through the entire process with a high level of professionalism and skill and always went out of her way to offer a very high standard of service. She was always happy to make time for me. If you are looking for a professional, honest, knowledgeable and friendly agent Sarah is the person to go to!
Morgan helped us sell a rental property, our personal home and with the purchase of a farm that included a major remodel loan. All three transactions had special issues that had to be addressed from oil tank removal to a fire marshal requiring an easement, and everything in between! Morgan navigated us through the various issues, provided support and thought outside of the box to help us achieve our dream. We will call on her in the future, if she will have us!
I am not a first time homebuyer, but it had been a while since I’d owned a home in the Portland area. Marisa was patient and thoughtful as we discussed my needs and wants for my home. She was clear with me- “we are only going to look at homes you love”, she said. And that was such an efficient strategy. Thank you Marisa, for helping me find a place that’s just right for me and my family.
When I met Marika in August 2013, I was looking for a temporary tenant until I sold my property. I found that and more! When Marika listed my condo on the river, I needed to feel I was in competent hands as I would be away for the first two weeks and I wanted the process to go smoothly as I was recovering from surgery.
I found Marika to be professional and conscientious, with great follow through skills. She is tech-savvy and a good listener who pays attention to details. She gave me the advance notice I needed to process the necessary considerations with my sale. And she remained calm! Marika was prompt in responding to my questions and she went the extra mile to facilitate my sale while I was out of town.
I’ve given her card to my neighbors upstairs, they listed their property with Marika and it was successfully sold within moments of the condo going on the market. I am pleased to recommend her.
