My husband and I worked with Brittany to find our new home, and she was fantastic. She was always extremely responsive and helpful when we found a home we wanted to view, provided honest and useful feedback and guidance throughout the process, and skillfully helped us navigate writing several offers that enabled us to get our dream home. Brittany is thoughtful and great at listening to the needs of her clients, while also being able to go to bat for them during negotiations. Her expertise was invaluable from beginning to end and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to buy a new home!
Searching for a home on a budget in the Portland area is a true challenge. Without an experienced realtor like Kelley to help point out possible pitfalls, help negotiate the (assured) issues that come up after a home inspection, and write a budget conscious and acceptable offer, I can’t imagine how much less pleasant my home buying experience would have been. When I found the home I wanted, Kelley worked relentlessly to negotiate issues big and small; everything from pushing back the closing date to negotiating a seller-paid, brand new roof as part of the purchase!
Jessica was/is amazing!! She made sure we had all the information we needed as we went through this whole process! We bought our first home with the ease of knowing we were being taken care of from start to finish!
As a first time homeowner/purchaser, I had very limited knowledge regarding the current trending market for properties in Portland and Jessica not only educated me, but also eased a lot of the frustrations and anxiety I felt over purchasing the right home. She is utterly amazing and truly cares about the wants/needs of her clients. Throughout the entire ordeal of locating a home, putting in an offer, and finally purchasing a home, her approach was always of that of a passionate professional but also that of a caring friend. I would highly recommend her to everyone in the Portland Metro area!
Kelley’s knowledge of the local market and intricacies of the home buying process are an asset that any buyer would be lucky to have. But Kelley’s patience, willingness to explain the aforementioned topics, and good ole’ fashioned kindness are just some of the things that set her apart. I never doubted that I was working with someone who genuinely cared about my interests and who took her role seriously–even if my little home wasn’t going to make her rich. Kelley never hesitated to answer a call or text and has since continued to help me with any questions I’ve had since buying the home. She once told me that I shouldn’t feel bad about asking questions even now that I’ve purchased my home because she’s my “realtor for life,”. That fact makes me very comfortable and If you want to work with someone who is pleasant, who you can trust, who will work with your best-interest in mind, then don’t hesitate to make Kelley your realtor for life too. I couldn’t be happier.
I wanted to take a few minutes today to thank you again for all your help with our listing and sale. I felt you went above and beyond numerous times, and helped the process move seamlessly (or at least flow better when things got sticky!). I am so grateful we went with you, and wanted to make sure you were aware of how appreciative we were.
I recently set out to buy my first home and meeting Kelley turned out to be the best possible thing that I could have asked for in the endeavor. As a first-time buyer, I only had random internet articles and often impertinent facts to guide me through the cumbersome and often antiquated process of buying a home; that all changed when I met Kelley. She accepted and treated my modest budget no differently than if I was looking for a mansion, she rose to every challenge along the way, she was an amazing negotiator, she relentlessly worked on my behalf, and she treated me with kindness, patience, and understanding when I had questions or got downright nervous at the prospect of making the biggest purchase of my life.
I highly recommend Tom. I couldn’t be happier with the way he helped me through the process of selling my home. He was knowledgeable about the local market, attentive to details and extraordinarily helpful as I got my home ready to sell. I’ve worked with other agents and the experience with Tom was better in every way: he was responsive to my many questions, he was professional and hard-working, and despite being busy, he always made me feel like my home (and my experience) was his top priority. I would use Tom again in a heartbeat. Regardless of the ups and downs of the housing market, regardless of whether you’re buying or selling, what matters is the hard-work, attention to details, and relentlessness of your agent. Tom Kerr excels in all these areas. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
I have nothing but good things to say about Brittany and the Inhabit Portland team. Brittany walked me through my first home buying experience and was helpful at every step. She helped me solidify my idea of what I was looking for, spent as much time as I needed driving around showing me different options, and talking through the pros and cons of each location. I could tell she had my best interest in mind throughout the whole process, and she answered all of my questions promptly, professionally, and helpfully. She is kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. She handled the inspections, walked me through the paperwork, and I never felt she was pushing unnecessary or overpriced options on me. We have kept in touch since the closing date, and she has been a friend to me even after our business was concluded. I would highly recommend (and I have on more than one occasion) her to anyone looking to buy a home.
Brian Belefant (our favorite realtor) represented my niece and myself in the purchase of a home in Portland, Oregon in September, 2017.
If you’re thinking of hiring Brian, here are some observations my niece and I had about him:
1. Responsive. He answers the phone, responds to your requests.
2. Even tempered. When problems arise, and they always do, Brian looks for solutions.
3. Knowledgeable. I have 30 years experience in banking. It was nice not to have to educate my real estate agent about the process.
4. Resourceful. We had an issue with our lender and Brian went above and beyond to help solve it. He didn’t, of course, because like I said, I have 30 years experience in banking. But the guy tried. Hard.
5. Patient. He showed us houses numbering in the teens, listened to feedback, and pointed out the pros and cons for each showing.
6. Fun. In a quiet, introverted way.
He’s honest and he works hard. I’m glad we worked with him.
