Bio

Amanda’s interest in real estate was first sparked at a young age while touring homes for fun with her father. She loved exploring each property in search of what made it unique. But her career path first steered her to an honors degree in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Iowa. In 2006 Amanda moved to Portland and quickly fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. After earning a Master’s degree in Medical Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Washington she returned to Portland to be closer to family. Her career led her to working in in some of Portland’s most prestigious hospitals, where she helped patients with communication and swallowing disorders. The work with patients was challenging and personally rewarding.

After buying her first home with her husband in Southeast Portland in 2012, Amanda became increasingly interested in becoming a real estate agent. She hadn’t lost her keen interest in houses and she wanted to combine her exceptional people skills with a dynamic career assisting people find a place to call home. At Inhabit she thrives on helping each client understand the ever-changing market and support them throughout the buying and selling process with her tried-and-true bedside manner. Her background in hospitality, patient care, and hospital leadership has provided her with a diverse skillset to cater to the specific needs of each client.

Amanda and her husband are proud homeowners in the Woodstock neighborhood. When she’s not scouting neighborhoods or enjoying the Portland dining scene you can find her cooking at home, walking her dogs, hiking the Gorge, or practicing yoga.
