The opportunity to purchase a house at 18 years old, set in motion my life-long passion for homeownership and the pursuit of successful real estate investments.
Joining Inhabit Real Estate as a broker is the ideal opportunity for me to provide a service forward approach to helping clients identify their real estate goals, plan a customized strategy to navigate the journey, and achieve their dream of homeownership.
20+ years of experience in the hospitality industry has allowed me to develop my expertise in the art of personalized service. In doing so, I’ve learned that attention to detail and personalization is what makes the difference. My acuity and acumen, as an investor and buyer & seller of my own personal real estate, has given me invaluable resources and experiences to share with my clientele.
How I came to call myself a resident of Portland began with a whimsical trip in 2015 which set the stage for relocation from Atlanta in 2016. Finding the neighborhoods of southeast PDX aligning the best with our passions for design, community, food & wine, my partner Molly and I, along with our dog Rosie, settled in the wonderful neighborhood of Ladd’s Addition.
When I’m not engaged in real estate you will most likely find me running in the streets of Portland or on the trails of Forest Park, hunting for treasured jazz records and rare chairs at antique malls or finding the coolest new spots to take friends and family.
P.S. If you like to talk about wine, I am a certified Sommelier as well.
Clay is incredibly detail oriented and intentional with his time and his actions. As a friend, this translates to loyal, thoughtful and dependable. In business, those same apply but it is also seen through his relationship approach to customer service. His sincerity coupled with his unmatched professionalism will always shine when you are with him and I can say, with conviction, that whatever Clay does, he does it well and does it the right way.
Clay’s due diligence and his abilities to research what it is he’s doing along with not being afraid of tough conversation make him my choice as a realtor.
One of Clay’s strongest assets is his dedication to seeing through to the end any project that he has begun, bringing flexibility and wisdom, and working with his team to achieve success.
