If you truly care about your passions, you not only work toward your own success, but also towards the success of the people around you.
They say a smile and a laugh is infectious and I tend to agree. I was born in northern Bavaria where positivity, optimism, and hard work to maintain that positivity has always been an ironclad goal of the Tannenberger family. I have a passion for helping people, plain and simple. After getting an advanced degree in counseling from Oregon State University, I took any opportunity to be an advocate and to help people move their lives to the next chapter.
Before I joined the world of real estate, I was a small business lender. I had many Realtors as clients and once I saw the sheer joy they get in just doing their job, I knew it was for me. I’ve always had a passion for design as an amateur graphic designer. I’m constantly awestruck by the beauty of Portland architecture from the 100 year old Oregon craftsman in Council Crest to the hyper modern condos of the south waterfront.
In order to be the best advocate for you, I spend much of my free time researching Portland history and I like to pride myself in knowing Portland’s wide sprawl of microneighborhoods as well as the surrounding greater Portland area. I live with a family of researchers and as boring as it may sound to many, I love spending my time soaking in every little bit of knowledge, no matter how trivial (Stuck choosing between two New England towns, the name of Portland was chosen after a coin flip. Had the other side of the coin landed face up, the city would have been named Boston).
We all know that buying or selling a home can be extremely stressful, especially with this high paced Portland market. Let me be your smart and trusted advocate, because I LOVE doing it and I believe it’s important to start this new chapter of your life with a smile on your face.
